About Mrugank Patel
The person behind
the practice.
I didn’t start here. I started in a corporate office in Melbourne, wondering if this was all there was. What happened next became the foundation of everything I now do.

My story
Externally successful.
Internally lost.
“I spent over a decade as a consultant in Fortune 500 companies in Melbourne. Good salary, career peak, no peace.”
I had everything that was supposed to make me happy. And then one day, I found myself asking: is this what the next 30 years look like? That question changed everything.
I began studying human psychology and behaviour — not out of academic curiosity, but out of necessity. I needed to understand why I felt stuck despite doing everything “right.” What I learned helped me identify what I actually wanted, dismantle the mental patterns keeping me in place, and eventually leave corporate life entirely.
I trained formally as a psychotherapist in Australia, became certified to Australian clinical standards, and after 15 years in Melbourne, returned to India with one mission: to make high-quality psychological support accessible to as many people as possible.
I don’t have shortcuts or happiness pills. What I have is 2,000+ sessions of evidence-based work, a lived experience of what it means to be stuck — and the skills to help you move.

How I work
Values that guide every session.
01
Integrity
I do this work because it is meaningful to me — not because it is a profession. That means I am honest with you, even when honesty is uncomfortable, and I hold myself to the same standards I bring to every session.
02
Authenticity & Compassion
I have been through my own career change, burnout, and moments of doubt. That lived experience gives me a genuinely compassionate approach — I’m not reading your situation from a textbook. I’ve felt versions of it myself.
03
Evidence-Based Practice
No pseudoscience, no wellness trends. Every approach I use — ACT, CBT, mindfulness-based therapy — is empirically supported, backed by research, and applied with clinical precision to your specific situation.
